Crispy Baked Sweet Potatoes

Been loving sweet potatoes since having a baby. I was experimenting and trying to find different foods that I could offer to Kris as a snack. This one became everybody’s favourite.

Recipe is for a side dish or a snack so it serves two adults and a baby 🙂 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 800g of Sweet Potatoes
  • Knob of Butter (melted)
  • 2-3 Spoons of Olive Oil
  • Some Paprika
  • Some Ground Cumin

Peel, wash and cut sweet potatoes into a little squares. Throw all of them into a bowl and season with cumin and paprika. Add some olive oil, melted butter and swirl around until it’s all nice and combined.

Spread sweet potatoes onto the tin foil lined baking tray and bake them for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Turn the sweet potatoes around gently and keep baking them for another 20-30 minutes until nice and slightly crisp.

We just love snacking on them. Hope you enjoy too!
